Shameer is a full stack developer, AWS consultant, speaker, and an occasional blogger from India. He is currently working for a fast growing start up company in Dubai. Shameer is passionate about technology, programming and experienced in developing large-scale Web and RESTful applications; mainly using technologies like PHP, JavaScript, Scala, MySQL etc. Sometimes he provides consultancy services on AWS platform for startups other organizations. He is well focused on the scalability, development best practices and methodologies and encourages others to follow them. Shameer is the developer of TextPress, a lightweight, flat-file blog engine in PHP. While not at work he spend his time learning and experimenting with new technologies, hacking personal and open source projects or watching screencasts. He initiated KeralaJS, a JavaScript user group in Kerala, India.
